How do I search on 360Boating.com? Click in to the 360Boating site and select the search criteria for whatever information you want to find about the business or services or brand name goods that you need.
You can search for a specific name or by geographic location, by the type of service you need or by the brand name of the materials you want or, by any combination.

In the future, 360 Boating will be adding GPS locators and integrating with software to lead you directly to the store location through GPA driving software.

RTA is unique. You won't find it anywhere else in this industry.
It allows you to display whatever advertising copy you choose ... copy that you can change whenever you want.
How does RTA work?
RTA is something new and unique.
RTA gives you the power and ability to display whatever advertising or public information material you wish.
The display is formatted with a major headline, followed by a subheadline followed by up to six (6) paragraphs of ad copy each with a maximum display of 256 words. In total you can display over 1500 words of ad copy in addition to your headline text.

You control when it is displayed
You control when the ad copy is changed and to what.
You can change it as often as you want!
You can change it monthly, weekly, daily or even (quite literally!!) hourly if you wish.
What can I say in my RTA ad copy?
Anything at all that you can legally say about your business subject to the usual laws, considerations and good business practices about copyright, truthfulness in advertising, profanity and common good taste.
How can I change my RTA ad copy?
You access RTA on-line so, first you will need internet access and a web browser. Any of the standard browsers will do just fine. There are no files to upload or download. You make all changes to your ad copy by simply typing it in as you go.

Then, you go to the "Members" area and enter the Username and Password (U/P) that you chose.
Please note that you cannot change your RTA without entering your Username and Password. That way you and we are sure that no one other than you can mess with your listing. If you forget your Username and Password, don't worry. Just let us know by phone or e-mail and we'll send them out to you in a private e-mail to the address registered in your listing. (We will NOT provide them verbally over the phone ... only by e-mail).
At that point you may change any part of your listing that you wish. You can change the selection of goods and services, update your name and address and information and, most important, you can put whatever new ad copy you wish into your listing display.

That's all it takes.
How safe is the information that I entrust to 360Boating.com?
There are several answers to that question.
The first consideration is how you input your information and how you change it later. The answer to that is that everything is Username and Password locked. You are the only one who can enter your information and you are the only one who can change it.
Second, you can change your username-password as you feel it necessary.
Third, every time any changes are made to your listing information an e-mail is sent to your registered e-mail address confirming the change.
360 Boating does not sell, share, disclose, trade, or provide Confidential Information entrusted to our care to any third party for any purpose whatsoever not directly related to immediate financial transactions between you and 360 Boating save and except in compliance with law.
I entered my information but it doesn't show up yet when I search. How come?
New listings are held in our "pending" database until several things have been taken care of.
First, all listings go through a software review process to ensure that:
(a) it is a boating & fishing related site that has been entered and not a SPAM or "adult" site,
(b) the listing contains a valid e-mail address,
(c) the listing includes a unique username-password,
and, of course,
(d) your subscription fees have been received and processed.
Once that has been done your listing will be activated for all the world to see.

How much does it cost to list my business on 360Boating.com?
Depends on what information you want potential customers to see.
listing displays your business name and address, including phone
numbers. A hot Map link to your business is also included. Basic
level listings will only show search results for name and address
searches and service type. You may change this information at any
time to keep your name, address and contact information current.

very special service. Gold RTA includes all of the Basic and Silver
services PLUS something you won't find anywhere else ... Real Time
Advertising ("RTA"). "RTA" includes the
option of displaying up to 1500 words of whatever advertising text
copy that you choose to show your customers.
You choose the text, the topic and the ad
format. You decide what to say,
when to say it and how often it
changes. It's sort of like having a half page newspaper
ad in every issue of the paper all year long and each ad
can be different !! Tell your customers about events,
sales, new arrivals ... anything that you
choose ! GOLD listings are available for $60, payable annually.

How do I pay for my listing?
We accept VISA or American Express.
We are also quite content if you pay by check ... whether personal or business check. We do appreciate that this is a business expense and that accountants like to see that paper trail of invoices and checks (ours does, too).
The only limitation on the use of checks is if you choose to pay for a full RTA listing on a monthly basis. That we will only do by VISA or American Express automatic monthly debit.
Mind you, if the bank returns your check unpaid for any reason, we will assess a $30 charge to cover our bank fees in addition to the billing amount.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
We are not required to collect retail sales tax.
Are the listing fees tax deductible?
Yes, as long as you or your business can claim advertising expenses against business income. Depends how greedy your local government is.
What proof do I have for the Tax Man that I did this?
We provide full itemized invoicing showing services acquired and amounts paid for your business records.
What about renewals?
If you are using the VISA or American Express automatic debit plan for full RTA listings, you don't need to do anything about it. Renewals will be handled automatically.
For all other renewals, we will send you an on-line invoice/reminder approx. 30 days before the expiry date of your current listing. It is your responsibility to ensure that the necessary information/check reaches us before the expiry date of the current listing.
How do I cancel my listing?
You need to give us 30 days notice, in writing, that you wish to cancel. The 30 day notice period shall commence on the earlier of the date that the notice is received by 360 Boating or on the seventh (7th) day following the date of the postal cancellation ("postmarked") applied by the US or Canadian Postal services or the fourteenth (14th) day following the date of the postal cancellation ("postmarked") applied by any other National Postal Service.
Refunds will be made of all fees paid according to the following schedule:
1. For accounts paid by automatic monthly VISA or American Express debit - no refund will be paid for services provided through the end of the month in which the 30 day cancellation notice ends. Thereafter, no further debits will be made. Should any debit be made inadvertently or in error, such amounts will be refunded to the VISA or American Express card, in full, immediately.
